In some countries, the ‘National definitions’ of drug-related death include a limited number of cases of deaths indirectly related to drug use. See Methodological notes in 2006 Statistical Bulletin.
(1) In Czech Republic, the 'national definition' includes 71 % of cases due to psychoactive medicines.
Although all cases are included in 'N', in some countries not all cases have information on toxicology. The proportions have been computed as valid percentages (see Table DRD-1).
