A = acute cases, AC = acute and chronic cases
UK: Data are laboratory reports and not notifications. Data definition changed in 2000, see Table INF-5 – notes and comments. Since 2000 the number of reports being received that include data on risk factors has declined. The total number of reports received each year has increased during this time.
Raw numbers from which the index is calculated can be obtained from Table INF-5 part (i).
