Figure DLO-3. Percentage of drug law offences for use or possession for use related to cannabis in Europe, 2000-2005 [see all figures in this series...]

Part (ii) New Member States and Turkey

Notes:

Data between brackets refer to the number of reports for offences for use/possession for use related to cannabis in 2005.

Data were not available for Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia.

Percentages were calculated in different ways according to data available and ways data were originally recorded; for example, percentages may refer to cannabis among all drug mentions (whether alone or with other drugs) in offences for use/possession or to cannabis offences considered as main offences in offences for use/possession.

Turkey: 2002 data refer only to police data, while after 2002 data refer to all data reported by the main law enforcement authorities (police, gendarmerie, customs).
