Notes:
(1) EMCDDA computation. Ratio on AIDS cases attributed to IDU (cases due to IDU divided by total number of AIDS cases with known risk factor) applied to Eurostat figures on total numbers of AIDS deaths in each country in 2003.
The calculations of population mortality rates are based on 2005 population sizes as reported by Eurostat.
