Notes:

 A fuller historical series, back to 1985 for reporting countries, is available in the Supplementary tables section of this Statistical bulletin. 

 (1) 1998 data includes both seizures of amphetamine and ecstasy. 

 (2) Accurate data are not available before 2002 due to double counting of seizures by police and customs reports. 

 (3) In 1995: the number of seizures based on offences; since 1996: the numbers of seizures based on police register. Data include both seizures of amphetamine and methamphetamine. 

 (4) Since 2000, data include seizures of all amphetamine-type products in kg with no differentiation between products; see Table SZR-13 for numbers of seizures of amphetamine-type products additionally seized in tablets. 

 (5) Before 2004, data include both amphetamine and methamphetamine seizures.  

 (6) Data include both seizures of amphetamine and methamphetamine. 

 (7) 2000 data includes seizures of ecstasy. 

 (8) Data include 3 seizures of amphetamine tablets in 2001; 4 in 2002; 2 in 2003; 4 in 2004; 5 in 2005; and 4 in 2006. 

 (9) Before 2001, data include both amphetamine and methamphetamine seizures.  

 (10) Before 2001, data include both amphetamine and methamphetamine seizures. Fenmetrazin is included in amphetamine seizures.  

 (11) Data refer to seizures made by the Customs and the National Service for Combating Organized Crime (NACOC) from the Ministry of Interior.  

 (12) 2004 data include 4 seizures of amphetamine tablets. 

 (13) Up to 2003 the number of large seizures only is reported; from 2004 all seizures are reported.
